Tallgrass Tales from the Republic of Grass
I have written on many topics over the years, but none have emerged from my pen with such ease and clarity, or been underwritten by such passion, as these thoughts and stories about life on the last fragment of tallgrass prairie. I believe that’s because, for the first time in my life, I live in a place that’s quiet enough I can hear myself think.
Marva L. Weigelt
Tallgrass Tales is a collection of essays, stories, poems, brain tornados, philosophical ramblings and passionate soapbox speeches inspired by life in the Republic of Grass.
The first Tales appeared in April 2004 and have been appearing at unpredictable intervals ever since.
